This is the second time this is being raised. Irregular and poorly-repaired pavement causes vibration in adjacent buildings (St James Mansions) when busses and heavy goods vehicles pass. The vibration is strong enough to cause gradual fracturing of internal plaster within St James Mansions and affects apartments throughout the block.

Updates

  • 30/04/24 Inspection completed and could not find any defects with the manhole cover. Inspector watched several vehicles pass and there were no noises.
