2 April – New replacement bollard has been stolen again

Reported via desktop in the Non-Illuminated bollards category anonymously at 14:54, Tuesday 2 April 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5796278.

The replacement bollard that was put in place last week has been taken again over the Easter weekend. The street is once again open to vehicular traffic and anyone who likes can use Albert Street to shortcut into the west end from Parkway or Delency St. The individual who removes the bollards clearly don't want a bollard there and have taken the council's traffic flow policies into their own hands. It's clearly a waste of time and money to put another removable bollard in place because culprit will simply act again. It's a simple act of vandalism against a community who mostly appreciate the low traffic neigbourhood. Please could you replace the bollard with one which is locked, or install a CCTV system to prevent traffic using this access point?
