Directly outside Metro House 32 Arlington Road

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 12:08, Thursday 21 March 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5747879.

I'm sorry I tried to upload photos but the system won't accept them. The pavement has recently been repaved here and during those works the contractors have removed original cobbles in the gutter and replaced them with tarmac instead. If you look at Google Streetview you will see that the cobbles underlie the table junction and are visible from the edge of the ramp onwards towards Carlow Street, matching those elsewhere in the road. The street is in a Conservation Area and the cobbles should therefore have been retained!
