Prince Albert Road

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5702709.
For a significant amount of time, Prince Albert Road has been riddled with potholes, some areas containing numerous craters close together, making navigation treacherous.
Moreover, the majority of the road surface is uneven, exacerbating the hazards presented by the potholes. Some poorly attempted fixes have been done over the past few months but they haven’t resolved the issues and have potentially made it worse.
Loose road chippings from these defects litter parts of the bike lane, rendering it unsafe and slippery. As a result, cyclists are forced into the middle of the road, where they sometimes encounter impatient and aggressive drivers, creating a highly dangerous situation for all road users.
Additionally, the inadequate drainage exacerbates the problem, causing large pools of water to accumulate, particularly at the speed bump. This forces cyclists further into the path of traffic, increasing the likelihood of accidents.
Not only does the current state of the road pose a risk to public safety, but it also has financial implications, with reports of damage to vehicles and bicycles. It is evident that urgent action is needed to address these issues before someone sustains serious injury. Please promptly devise a comprehensive plan for this section of road.
