During the construction works of the new Mary Prince House someone had an idea of installing a set of temporary traffic lights with pedestrian crossings at this location. This was certainly done by someone in an office without much of a site survey becuase there was really no need for that crazy set of lights - luckily they didn't last long. However, unfortunately there was a change on the road markings for the street parking so to allow for this pedestrian crossing; the temporary situation was removed however the parking space was never returned back... we now have a space that once was available for parking and now is not, this really should be reinstated as parking space especially considering that this is a dead space, there are more flats in the street now and that a request for a disable car park nearby has been requested.
