Point at which eastbound cycle lane joins road.

Reported via mobile in the Transport Planning Referrals category anonymously at 00:51, Thu 22 February 2024

FixMyStreet ref: 5612727.

I narrowly avoided being hit by a car at this location. There are no indications of right of way for either cyclists or motorists. The car driver I presume thought he was entering a turning circle area and cut directly across my path. I believe cyclists have right of way as we continue directly from the cycle path onto the road and there are no give way signs to indicate otherwise. Some clear road markings and signage are urgently needed to avoid a similar accident occurring in future.
