Ardwick Road by the intersection with Fortune Green Road

FixMyStreet ref: 5560031.
The road has pelican crossing markings for pedestrians wishing to cross Ardwick Road. However, the crossing isn't controlled by a pedestrian traffic light. Cars can turn either into or out of Ardwick Road depending on the surrounding traffic lights but there's never a break in traffic that allows pedestrians to cross. As a result, this can be a difficult road to cross, and the road markings cause frequent confusion as to whether pedestrians have priority over vehicles. Either the road markings should be removed, or a zebra crossing added, or pedestrian traffic lights to control the crossing.
