Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5293342.

The tarmac around the grates has sunken/been damaged. Every time a car goes across the grates, because the tarmac is damaged, there is a loud bang. The grates need to be fixed into place.

  • The road has collapsed further. With further damage surrounding the grate. When any vehicle goes over the grate the noise is very loud due to the damaged road.

  • The repair has failed. The damage has increased around the grate. The holes have increased in size. Cars going over the grate make a loud noise throughout the day and night.

  • Virgin Media have been identified as the owner of the noisy / sunken apparatus and are responsible for its maintenance. It has been reported to Virgin Media under reference number VM/CIP/459726 and they have been asked to expediate all necessary remedial works.
