Junction of Drury Lane with Gt Queen Street/ Long Acre

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 19:07, Thu 23 November 2023

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5247161.

The road priorities were changed some months ago. However, the old road markings (representing the former priorities) are showing through the black paint which should obliterate them - the result is a dangerously confusing junction and as a cyclist I have had contretemps with motorists who do ‘t know the junction. THe ‘correct’ road markings would benefit from re-whitening and the old markings should be removed, not covered with a thin veneer of black paint. This has been gradually emerging over recent months but is now so bad that both old and new markings are about equally visible.
