  • These long narrow enormous potholes are extremely dangerous. My daughter often has to avoid the traffic lights crossing because it can be very busy and it is not easy to manoeuvre her wheelchair safely. She then has to use the crossing a little further n Leighton Road to achieve half crossing at the time. The potholes are such that it is nearly impossible to dig the wheelchair/rollator chair out of them with more people helping. This is not a zebra crossing and not all drivers seem to pay attention to it. Please do something about it - before March! - as urgently as it is feasible to avoid serious accident or death. My daughter also has poor vision but in her case she always needs a carer with her. For those with limited vision this is a death trap too. Just act, act now, before a death or accident for which you can be found in dereliction of the duty of care and your responsibilities. Yes if it happens or when it does it will inevitably be judged as totally preventable
