Drain at north end of Queen Square Gardens. opposite Queen Court residential building.

Reported via desktop in the Drain is blocked category anonymously at 14:53, Fri 22 September 2023

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5021753.

This drain (at the north corner of the Square) sits under a fig tree. It is also rather deeply 'recessed' into the tarmac. For both these reasons it receives alot of rubbish, which blocks the drain. It is also constantly covered in debris of one kind or another, and during heavy rains the entire road in that corner floods, to the point that standing water comes up over the kerb and floods into the entrance of Queen Court opposite. The drain needs to be cleaned/unclogged, and would benefit from some kind of grille to protect it from taking anything in but water.
