Very loose Thames Water manhole cover about to come completely out of the hole in the road - all traffics bumps it about and it makes a really loud noise. Someone will go and remove it soon as it’s constantly being driven over.

  • The cover comes right out of the hole it’s supposed to be secured in - it’s going to cause damage to a car at some point as well

  • When is someone coming to fix this? Unsure why there is a report a problem page for the council if there is zero reply to the issues being reported.

  • Thank you for reporting this issue. Thames Water have been identified as the owner of the noisy / defective apparatus and are responsible for its maintenance. It has been reported to Thames Water under reference number. TW00054297 and they have been asked to expediate all necessary remedial works.
